Mighty Switch Force free DLC on May 24


A new version of Mighty Switch Force will be available in the Nintendo eShop starting May 24th. Players who already own the title can download the game again for free. When you do, you will receive the bonus content listed below. Newcomers will receive all bonus content included with their purchase. 
  • 5 all new bonus levels
  • Enhanced stereoscopic effect to all previous levels 
  • By popular request, a “retry” button for dedicated speed runners

DSi price drops to $100, DSi XL to $130


Nintendo has finally dropped the prices of their last gen handhelds. The DSi will now cost $100 and the DSi XL $130. This now means that the DSi XL will not cost more than the 3DS which is how its supposed to be.

Wii U controller redesign leaked online


For a brief moment this picture was leaked onto twitter before being taken down. Of course nothing on the internet is ever really erased so hear it is.

As you can see there are a couple changes to this version of the controller compared to the one from E3 2011.

The first thing that sticks out (okay I'm sorry about that pun) are the analog sticks which have replaced the slide pads also found in the 3DS. Now personally I like the slide pads on my 3DS but there's one problem with them, they don't click. For a handheld that's fine but for console games (especially shooters) R3 and L3 are essential.

Pikmin 2 trailer for the Wii


Just in time to get fans excited for Pikmin 3 on the Wii U, Nintendo is releasing a Wii version of Pikmin 2 which originally debuted on the Gamecube. Best of all the game will be sold for only 20 dollars!

Midnight Purple 3DS coming May 20



The Midnight Purple 3DS will launch on May 20th for 169.99 in the US. That's also the same day Mario Tennis Open launches so new 3DS owners can get a new game with their new system.
