Nintendo joins Sony with budget Wii

Well we can't really call this a budget Wii because we don't know how much this is going to cost. What we do know is that like PSP earlier, this Wii will have less features. Nintendo decided to cut the backwards compatibility with the Gamecube. That means not being able to play GC games as well as removing all the controller ports for the older system.

This may or may not affect you, if you don't care about GC games then you won't even notice. But if you have some old GC games you want to play or even plan on playing games like Smash Bros. or Mario Kart on the Wii with a GC controller then you might be mad. Or you can always, oh I don't know, buy one now with the things you want.
